Calling all NEW Band members!

Hey 5th graders!  We want YOU and your friends to come and join the fun in middle school!  Here are the steps to joining the BAND:

1. Choose BAND as your #1 elective on your choice card!
2. Attend our Instrument Petting Zoo!!!  Come visit us on Saturday, April 13 to come and TRY all of the instruments!  Click on the LINK to reserve your own VIP time slot!  We will be there to help you find the perfect fit!  Plan on being with us for about 45 minutes that day.
3. Click above on the FUTURE BAND MEMBERS tab and start looking at all of the instruments in the BAND!

DMS Full Orchestra - TMEA State Finalists!

Congratulations to the members of the 2023 DMS Full Orchestra (combined Band & Orchestra) on being selected as ONE of SIX finalists in the State of Texas! The final listening will be held in San Antonio on July 20 - the winner will get to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in February.  We are so incredibly proud of the student performers and music we made together!

How to join BAND for the 23-24 school year!

Reading this during the summer?  It's not too late to join!  

Email the Band Director, Mrs. Lisko, and let us know you want to join.  We will find a time to meet with you and get you all set up to be a member of the Band!
